NYPD detective set in present day. Family: Father is alive, mother was brutally murdered when Kate was 16, which led her to become a cop. The investigation of her mother’s death hits a dead end and Kate finally gives it up and continues doing her best for the safety of NY by investigating murders and finding the murderer. She’s a straight shooter, both communicational-ally and literally. Observant and strong. Independent, determined. Ya know, the kind of girl that is able to handcuff and outsmart a murderer while comforting a loved one of the victim. I’m pretty sure she’s gotta be a Cancer. Tough on the outside but a softie through and through. Physically: In shape, beautiful, doesn’t dress up too often, simple but classic. Anyway, growing up he’s stuck going on crazy archeological adventures with his father. Then World War 1 hits and he’s off in that not to mention all of the other crazy scenarios he finds himself in across the world. Mara “Daughter of Nobody and his wife Nothing.” A woman of about seventeen who is a servant in Ancient Egypt. Bright blue eyes are her adornment and her mind is her tool. Depending on what story you read or watch about her, she is always portrayed as someone who does not care about race. She is the first recorded Native American woman to be married to a white man, successful tobacco trader, John Ralfe
Sadly, she died when she was about twenty two to what doctors now think was lung disease. She and John had a son named Thomas.
Kaylee Frye. Engineer on the starship classified Firefly, known as Serenity. Lovable and open, Kaylee is able to share her emotions (both love and anger) with people. Also somewhat of a genius when it comes to ships and mechanical things. You could say she has a ‘green thumb’ for Serenity, and because of her she’s able to stay running. Kaylee is the ‘little sister’ of the crew. Incredibly loyal, and though timid in some areas is still incredibly headstrong and stubborn and speaks her mind.
She’s probably around 23, beautiful and innocent, but a risk taker through and through nonetheless.
