Inspiring Jayce - Captain America and Peggy - Meaningful Men

There’s something to be said for the Meaningful Men of the World. Men who bring gifts of Charm and Adoration. Wit and Humor. Attention and Love. Not because they wish to manipulate, nor do they have ulterior motives, but because they want those around them to be and feel Special.

The ones who open the door for others, or offer an elder their seat, not because it’s ‘acceptable’ but because they want to do what is right.

What inspired such a post? Or rather, who?

Captain America of course.

I used to think he was cheesy, OK, so sometimes I still do, but honestly I could use more men like him around. Safe. Strong. Protective without being overbearing. Mostly I like that he’s out looking for the Right Woman, not just any woman. Something about that appeals to me, the idea of looking for the right person. Maybe I’m Old Fashioned, but I’m also pretty Open Minded – a Walking Contradiction if you will, and I think that if the world had more people, especially men in my opinion, who were out looking for the Right Woman verses any woman, well, Life would be a lot simpler.

Meaningful Men make it a point to have conviction. A reason for what they do. It could be Loyalty, Love, Courage, or just Doing What is Right. But they have it, tucked away into their heart of hearts, letting it seep into every action, word and thought. No, these men are not perfect…

but they are certainly heroes.

My super logical post inspired by Captain America – conclusion -

What is your conviction towards Life? Especially in regards to Relationships? I’m no guru, but I know that this will affect your life on every level, so you have a right to know this about yourself.

Steve Rogers: Well, asking a woman to dance always seems so terrifying. And the past few year just didn’t seem to matter that much. Figured I’d wait.
Peggy Carter: For what?
Steve Rogers: The right partner.
